This year I have been lucky enough to be one of the competitors in TG4's Glór Tíre competition with Robert Mizzell & The Country Kings. The competition began in September and continues every Wednesday until the final show in December. Our first show was broadcast on Wednesday 18th November 2009.

LIVE SHOW 1 -WED 2ND DEC
"On the first show the two people with the lowest number of votes would be going home. I was very relieved when my name was called out third and I was through to the next round. I sang my latest single 'Old Fashioned Girl'."
LIVE SHOW 2 -WED 9TH DEC
Lisa was the fourth act to go through to the semi-finals this week. She sang 'Except For Mondays' and got a great reception from the audience as well as the judges.
LIVE SHOW 3 (SEMI-FINAL) -WED 16TH DEC
This week saw Lisa singing 'There Were Roses' (also playing guitar herself), and also 'Buachaill On Eirne'. The two contestants with the highest number of votes went through, with one contestant to be "saved" by the judges. Lisa was the judges choice and went through to the final.
LIVE SHOW 4 (THE FINAL) -WED 23RD DEC
Although Lisa performed flawlessly, she lost out in the final to the show's winner, Patrick O'Sullivan. Lisa sang "To Daddy" and also "Good Girls Gonna Go Bad".
