"Dreams Come to Life" is the title of the stunning new album from
Rosette Records latest signing Lisa McHugh released on Friday 27th April.

The album features 14 great tracks including her latest promotional single 'In the Glow of the Light' which that was co-written by Joe McShane / Margo O'Donnell / James Thacker especially for Lisa.

Also featured are To Daddy, Some Days You Gotta Dance, Help Me Make It Through The Night, False Eyelashes, This I Promise You, Why'd Ya Come In Here?, Out There Somewhere, I Can't Be Bothered, Court Of Love, The Lightning Express, You're The First Thing I Think Of, Words Don't Reach My Heart and Time Has Come.

In the short sixteen months since Lisa hit the musical highway with her new band she can vouch that certainly 'Dreams Come to Life' having made it to the Grand Ole Opry stage as guest of her good friend Gene Watson and also having signed a four year deal with world famous Rosette Records. In reality these are all things that Lisa has dreamed about since a very early age.

Last week Lisa added two awards to her credits having received “Female Vocalist of the Year” at SKY TV’s Showcase Hot Country Awards 2012 and also “Outstanding Achievement of the Year” at Kfm Radio Awards 2012.

On Monday 23rd April Lisa received an award as “New Female Vocalist of the Year” at the Irish Country Sounds Awards 2012 presented by the Irish Farmers Journal.

More good news for Lisa is that she will receive the Artist of the Year 2011 award from the prestigious Northern Nashville Country Music Club, based in Thurso, Northern Scotland. This award is voted by the NNCMC members and will be presented by them to Lisa during her next appearance on Friday 28th September. She recently performed with her band at their annual Northern Nashville Caithness Country Music Festival to an audience of 3000 people.

To date Lisa has received eleven awards, released two albums and is getting fantastic reaction both at her live shows and from radio listeners nationwide.

This talented newcomer was born in Scotland and has now moved to Donegal having strong Irish connections as her mother hails from Falcarragh, Co. Donegal and her father is a native of Castlederg, Co. Tyrone. She first made her mark on the national scene in December 2009 as a finalist on TG4's Glór Tíre where her mentor was the ever-popular Robert Mizzell. Within a comparatively short period of time she has established herself as one of the top drawing country acts in Ireland.

This unique combination with Rosette Records looks set to carry Lisa McHugh through for a long, long time. To her ever growing fan base, that's the only way they want it……
