LISA is determined to make country cool as she builds a huge fan base with live performances, TV appearances and recordings. "The number of young people coming to both our dances and theatre performances has increased dramatically. It's wonderful to see people our own age relating to our songs", LISA commented.

She has appeared on The Grand Ole Opry as guest of her friend in Nashville Gene Watson. The show was transmitted worldwide live online on WSM Radio. LISA commented "I've always been a fan of Dolly Parton, Martina McBride and the Dixie Chicks so it was a dream come through to sing my songs on the same stage that these people have made home". When in 'Music City' LISA and Gene recorded a duet that will be released in the future.

Awards, TV shows and YouTube 'hits' are the order of the day for LISA as on Monday March 4th she added another award to her collection when received "Female Vocalist of the Year" 2013 at the 2nd Annual Irish Country Sound Entertainment Awards Show presented by the Irish Farmers Journal in the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone. In the company of most of Irelands top artists LISA was delighted to receive this accolade having come direct to this ceremony from a successful Scottish tour.

Awards have become a regular part of LISA McHugh's life as she has now received a total of 14 including 'Artist of the Year 2012' from the Northern Nashville Country Music Club in Scotland, 'Female Vocalist of the Year' 2012 presented in London by Daithi O'Se on behalf of The Irish World newspaper, Sunday Worlds 'Female Vocalist of the Year' 2012 and 'Outstanding Achievement on the World Stage' 2012 when she appeared on the Grand Ole Opry as guest of the legendary Gene Watson.

Recently LISA released her latest album entitled 'Dreams Come To Life' that includes a promotional single 'Why'd Ya Come In Here'. That single now has almost 130,000 'hits' on YouTube. Her duet single with Daniel O'Donnell entitled 'I'll Be Home With Bells On' also enjoyed great success being one of the most requested tracks on both national and local radio. Facebook is proving a wonderful platform for LISA as she now reaches almost 10,000 online friends worldwide who pay her the highest compliments as they follow her every step on her musical journey.

SKY Showcase Channel 191 features LISA regularly on their weekly country music programmes including Hot Country, Ireland West Music TV, Phil Mack International Country Music Show, Music Express and many more.

LISA has recently returned from a successful week long All Star Irish Carabbean Cruise in the company of Daniel O'Donnell and many major Irish artists. The cruise catered for 2,000 passengers departed rom Fort Lauderdale, Florida and visited the Caicos Islands, the Virgin Islands and the Bahamas.

A busy future looks to be the order of the day for LISA who has been described 'a beautiful girl with a wonderful voice'. Now a regular artist performing with her band at most premier theatre and dance venues and festivals LISA McHugh looks set to grace the stage for the long term future…………
